HOW TO INVESTIGATE, PROBLEM SOLVE AND CRITICALLY THINK.
Our pre-schoolers love to seek answers to their questions through investigation, research and play.
We trust our pre-schoolers with the freedom and risk to explore and have ultimate control in the direction their learning takes, in turn, the confidence they gain from this approach is immense. We believe the ability of how to investigate, problem-solve and critically think, are some of the most important skills they can take to their next chapter.
Team work, compromise, and communication, are crucial ingredients that we continue to foster in our preschool rooms (and as a staff team we’re constantly developing these skills too!).
Recently, our pre-schoolers have been researching and investigating ‘The journey of Germs!’, looking at mould, what makes us sick and the importance of medicine; It was fascinating to listen to the early theories and experiences of the three- and four-year olds around such a mature topic.
